The Grand Ghastly Game Challenge

Note: While hysterical, there is quite a bit to read below. You can scroll over all of this to the "recap" to get a quick idea of the rules if you want, but you'll miss out on some comedic gold!

The Plan!

Dark Lord Critter plans to conquer the world through distraction! If he can come up with a game so addicting that no one can resist playing, no one will even notice that he's ruling the world! But Dark Lord Critter can't make games... Heck, he can't even make these web pages, and we minions can't do it either! If only there was someone who could make him such a game...

... Then one day it hit him! "I'll get Charlie, that guy who lives on the other side of the computer screen and makes the Critterverse games and get him to make a game for me!" But of course that stuck up, righteous guy wouldn't do it! That just means Dark Lord Critter had to give up, right?

Pffft, yeah right! Here's how it REALLY is: evil Charlie won't help out Dark Lord Critter, who is in need. That makes him the bad guy, right? So he must be stopped! And to stop him, we must kidnap him!

The Challenge

That evil Charlie is a sneaky one, and after a couple days - say, a weekend - he always manages to escape. It took several kidnappings to get him to put these websites together! The same issue will be true with this game development... Based on our estimates, we will only have from Saturday morning until Sunday evening to get the best game we can out of him!

Where You Come In

We minions are great at being told what to do, but after having millions of ideas shot down by Dark Lord Critter we gave up on original thought. We need a concept for a great game, something that evil Charlie will be FORCED to work on! You can suggest your own idea and vote on which one(s) you like! If there happens to be a tie, we'll randomly choose one.

Recap

• Who: Everyone! Evil Charlie, the game developer, will be forced to make a game for Dark Lord Critter, but you get to vote on what the game will be about!
• What: A challenge to make a game within a weekend. How good it will be is a mystery!
  
• Where: Facebook! An event will be created for each one, simply like The Critterverse on Facebook to make sure you get the link!
  
• When: Typically voting will end the morning of the last Saturday of the month (whenever that evil Charlie wakes up), then Saturday through Sunday night are for game development.
  
• Why: To rule the world!
